While I can’t give you every photo from the shoot, I don’t like to set a cap on how many images you will receive. The number will change based on number of outfits/locations, and duration of shoot. 

Think of the RAW image format as a tool in a photographer’s tool kit. These files are unprocessed and uncompressed. In other words, RAW images are aesthetically flat. They are meant to be edited. I always want to put my best foot forward, and sharing any work that I am not 100% proud of would be a disservice to me, as the photographer, and ultimately to you, as the client. Nobody wants to receive unfinished work!

Not all shots are winners. Sometimes your eyes are closed. Sometimes you’re frozen in a weird position. Sometimes you’ve looked away at just the wrong moment. Whatever the situation is,  I spend a great deal of time reviewing our photos in search of the most evocative images. Along the same line of reasoning that I am unable to provide RAW files, providing every single image in another format is a request that I am unable to accommodate. I want to make sure I deliver the most authentic representation of my work and, more importantly, our work together. 

Want a color photo in black and white, or vice versa? Is an image slightly dark for your liking? Let me know! I am always happy to make tweaks within reason. They’re your memories, and I want you to be happy. 

1,000% yes. I would be flattered! If you share any of the photos I’ve taken, my only ask is that you use the @danhlphoto tag that corresponds to the platform you’re sharing to. 

Once photos are delivered, I can’t guarantee photo storage. Generally, I try to hang onto sessions for 30 days after the shoot, but this can vary!
